Tao Wang is a Staff Associate in the Nanomaterials Chemistry Group, Chemical Science Division at ORNL. Before joining the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in 2020, he spent a number of years at Jilin University, where he received a Bachelor's and Ph.D. in Chemistry. He then worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate, under the supervision of Professor Sheng Dai in the Department of Chemistry, at the University of Tennessee - Knoxville during 2019 and 2020. His current research mainly focuses on Li-ion battery recycling, the synthesis of high-entropy materials for energy storage and conversion.
