Post-Bachelor Research Assistant

Rebecca is a Post-Bachelor’s Research Associate working in the Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s Environmental Sciences Division. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. A love of learning and the outdoors led her to search out a career in renewable energies. Since joining the ORNL Water Power Technologies team, she has gained experience in cost-benefit analyses, minimum flow scheduling, computational fluid dynamic modeling, and dissolved oxygen modeling. She has been instrumental in developing an Âé¶¹Ó°Òô search tool used by multiple projects as well as several interactive data visualization tools all using Python's bokeh package.
