
Bio
Dr. David Bolme leads the Identity Science Program (IDS) at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and serves as the group leader for the Human Analysis and Biometrics research group. He earned his B.S. (2000), M.S. (2003), and Ph.D. (2011) in Computer Science from Colorado State University (CSU). With national recognition as an esteemed expert in biometrics, machine learning, and identity science, Dr. Bolme joined Oak Ridge National Laboratory in July 2012, where he played a pivotal role in co-founding the Identity Science Program alongside Hector Santos-Villalobos. This program boasts an annual budget exceeding $10 million and harnesses the expertise of 35 matrixed staff members.
