
Bio
REDC ISED, Lindsey Andreasen, joined ORNL in 2024. In her current position, she supports the Ac-225 processing project with separation of actinium from radium, for dispensing and shipment of Ac-225 product. Also, performing laboratory tests, experiments, process operations, and analyses per written procedures and work control documents to support nuclear R&D as well as mechanical and radiochemical processing operations; assists with glovebox and hot cell operations and remote processing; prepares chemical solutions, makes observations, collects data, maintains clear and complete records, assists with coordination of radioactive and hazardous waste disposal, and manages chemical inventory; and contributes as a team member and assists technical staff and senior technicians with day-to-day operations of chemical and radiochemical laboratories, resolving process-related issues as they arise.
