Bio
Dr. Célestin Bourgery obtained a PhD in Biocatalysis from URD ABI - AgroParisTech (France) in 2023. During his PhD program, his research focused on providing a new access to certain enzymatic cofactors with the aim of creating new applications, facilitating recycling and regeneration, and thus contributing to the advancement of biocatalysis. Part of this work has been conducted at BioPRIA (Bioresource Processing Institute of Australia), Monash University.
Dr. Célestin Bourgery is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate working on the discovery and engineering of enzymes for nylon hydrolysis and upcycling.
